Abstract
This paper shows the performance of Double Threshold Energy Detection in Cooperative-Cognitive Network by using AF relaying scheme over Rician Fading Channel. Double Threshold Energy Detection technique has the advantage over Single Threshold Energy Detection technique due to low noise uncertainty and efficient use of spectrum. Improvement in collision probability is seen in our results and these examinations are carried out by using Monte Carlo simulations over Rician fading channel by considering different values of k parameter and examined the trend of each at the receiver in terms of detection accuracy. Maximal Ratio Combining (MRC) diversity technique is applied at the receiver. Our results are taken for Detection Probability, Collision probability and Unavailable spectrum probability.
