Abstract
A 104 m 2 inflated plastic air heater with black plastic suspended screens as extra absorbing surfaces was tested and compared against an air heater without the screens. There was a definite improvement in collector performance with the addition of one or two suspended screens. The increase in efficiency more than offsets the cost of the screens.
