Abstract
We report test results of a small BaF 2 calorimeter using incident beam energies between 60 MeV and 7 GeV. A readout scheme consisting of a combination of wavelength shifter plate and silicon photodiode is employed. Measurements of the linearity, energy resolution for electromagnetic showers, electron/hadron separation and time resolution are presented.
