Abstract
Wang, X. and Han, Y., 2020. Performance management evaluation of port enterprises in a low-carbon environment. In: Gong, D.; Zhang, M., and Liu, R. (eds.), Advances in Coastal Research: Engineering, Industry, Economy, and Sustainable Development. Journal of Coastal Research, Special Issue No. 106, pp. 334–337. Coconut Creek (Florida), ISSN 0749-0208.With increasing attention to environmental protection, building a low-carbon environment has become a global development trend. For the port industry, it is the only way for enterprises to adapt to the global economic changes. Therefore, port enterprises should actively use the new development mode of low-carbon economy in enterprise management so as to solve the problems of transformation and upgrading, energy conservation, and emission reduction. On this basis, this paper first introduces the theoretical basis of port enterprise performance management in a low-carbon economy, then analyzes the impact of a low-carbon environment on port enterprises, and finally studies the construction method of a port enterprise performance management system in a low-carbon environment.
