Abstract

A method is proposed for filtering a digital frequency-shift keying radio channel to remove interference acting during the communication session. The method is based on scanning and on distinguishing corrupted instants in the signal, after which logic operations are used to clean up or filter the corrupted signal. The method protects digital radio channels from unauthorized eavesdropping and can also be used to filter signals corrupted by high-power selective random interference.
