Abstract

Present paper aims to improve the methanol sensing performance of $MnO_{2}$ Nanoflower ($MnO_{2}$ NF) based devices by incorporating to RGO. The hybrid structure of RGO/$MnO_{2}$ was found to offer dramatic improvement in terms of response magnitude $(\sim82.67$% at 100 ppm), response time (7s) and recovery time (11s) compared to its pristine counterpart. The possible cause for such improvement may be due to the additional adsorption sites on RGO layer and high electron mobility of the same.
