Abstract

An approach to evaluation of the current state of electrical equipment in the mineral resources industry is considered. The performance functions of basic electrical equipment have been generated on the basis of experimental data and reports. The technical condition of the motors is characterized by expert estimates, that of the packaged transformer substations by an assessment of the risk of failure, and that of the power transmission lines by a probabilistic assessment. Results of simulation of the approximation functions for the basic electrical equipment are analyzed. As the forecast function, the following functions are selected: the logarithmic function for ac motors, the linear function for packaged transformer substations, and the hyperbolic function for power transmission lines.
