Abstract

A simple method for estimating the thermal performance of single and multipass thermosyphonic solar water heating systems without reverse flow is presented. The measurements were performed for several days. The numerical computations for thermosyphonic mass flow rate, water temperature and thermal efficiency were carried out. A close agreement between theoretical and experimental results shows the validity of the present methods.
