Abstract

With the increasing demand of professional service, producer services have become increasingly important in the China economy. The research of supply chain especially formed in the process of professional services outsourcing is gaining more and more attention. However, there has been little research to date on service supply chain. It is necessary to understand whether the lessons learned in the product supply chain can be directly extrapolated to service supply chain. In this paper, firstly with the literature review of service supply chain, we conclude three views of service supply chain, and we give the definition of service supply chain based upon the perspective of professional services outsourcing. Then we proposed a professional service supply chain model, analyzed the traits of the service supply chain, and established a comprehensive performance evaluation system for the service supply chain based upon DEA and AHP models. At last the approaches are demonstrated with a simulation case.
