Abstract

The medium access control (MAC) and routing are fundamental parts in the design of wireless ad-hoc networks. A joint routing protocol and medium access control based on CSMA-CDMA with multi-rate transmission capability for ad-hoc networks are proposed in this paper. Simulations show the effectiveness and validation of the proposed protocol. Furthermore, these simulations present a better performance compared with hybrid ad-hoc routing protocol and fisheye state routing.
