Abstract

The literature shows that the analysis of photonic true time delay lines (TTDLs) using fiber Bragg grating in beam-steering system for phase array antennas (PAAs). A specific value of microwave frequency (f <inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">mw</inf> ) and no of antenna (N) will provide the optimized value of delay line for PAA. A specific number of linearly chirped fibers Bragg gratings (LCFBGs) are chosen to form the delay line. We conduct a parametric analysis of LCFBG, and the simulation study of an FBG built with length 80000 μm and Gaussian apodization yields a temporal delay of 674.79 ps across its reflecting spectrum bandwidth (4nm).Here, we present simulation results from OptiGrating version 4.2.2
