Abstract

In this paper, we present a survey of internet of things (IoT). We treat routing in the WSN focusing on the protocol AODV(Ad hoc on Demand Distance Vector) recognized to be very efficient and practical for mobile networks. We aim to optimize this protocol in order to take in consideration communicatin paradigm which will be able to send data from many nodes to one node periodically. And that by affecting the route discovery task at the base station instead of letting each sensor do it independently. The comparison between our optimized protocol and the standard AODV show the effectiveness of the optimized AODV protocol proposed for IoT, which can ensure a reasonable exploitable of the resources of the sensors, and it allows to have a lower consumption of energy.
