Abstract

Solar industry is booming with new heights and making new record of research and development in the field of PV technology. In the pressure of reducing the carbon emission, every developing country is reducing the dependency on thermal power and moving towards clean energy like solar, wind, ocean and biogas etc. Out of these, solar energy i.e., photovoltaic energy is the most demanding energy since it is available on the most part of the earth. With the development in solar PV modules the cost of solar cells is getting lower and efficiency is increasing. Between year 2020 to 2022 new technology in the solar panels changes the overall scenario and has started the race to develop high range of solar panels by reducing the mechanical cost of panels. Half cut and bifacial solar panels are the outcome of this development. Solar power generation is most clean form of generation among all type of generation. Hence is gaining the first choice of the electricity generating authority all over the world. Still, it is under research and development stage. Solar cell has very low efficiency and due to above facts, these efficiency decreases which ultimately affects the power generation. Shedding effect is one of the important factors for performance reduction in solar power generation. This paper is the study of new generation solar PV panels and different type of effect on its performance.
