Abstract

Digital-to-analog converters (DAC) have an important role in the communication between electronic systems and the outer world. Especially with the start of the usage of digital circuits for signal processing, the requirement of analog-to-digital conversion and digital-to-analog conversion has come out. According to the system level requirements, operating frequency, bandwidth and performance of the DACs are becoming important. In radar and electronic warfare applications, generally DACs that are capable of working at high frequencies are needed. Evaluation of performance of DACs before using them, can be advantegous by means of time and cost. In this study, information is given about the test infrastructure that is developed to evaluate the performance of DACs and measurements that are performed.
