Abstract
The main objective of this survey is to compare different nonlinear filtering techniques for denoising and enhancing digital images for multiple noise environments. In this Survey, the various noise conditions are studied and some efficient nonlinear filters are designed to suppress bipolar fixed-valued impulse noise quite effectively.
