Abstract
This paper contains a discussion of performance and threshold characteristics of a Wideband conventional FM demodulator using Limiter Discriminator. Complete description and results are presented. The static and dynamic threshold curves have been plotted experimentally. This demodulator has been used at Ahmedabad, Delhi and Amritsar SITE (Satellite Instructional Television Experiment) Earth Stations. During Satellite Telecommunication Experiment Project (STEP), this demodulator has also been used at Delhi, Ahemdabad and Madras earth stations and in Transportable Remote Area Communication Terminal (TRACT) made by Space Applications Centre (ISRO), Ahmedabad.
