Abstract

In this paper, the wireless communication between wireless medical devices (MD) and their master station (MS) using M-ary Quadrature Amplitude modulation (QAM) and (frequency shift keying (FSK) modulation schemes is analyzed. We discuss the concept of these modulation techniques' performance results when the system is subjected to perform receiver sensitivity. We analyze the sensibility performance of MD in the wireless Narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) network. The accuracy of sensibility analysis results from dependents generally upon both the modulation types and the subcarrier spacing. The two parameters indicate that sensitivity plays a critical role in improving the sensitivity signal level for healthcare's MDs to monitor the vital signs. This paper presents the MD receiver sensitivity performance analysis using different modulation techniques to improve healthcare quality of care in wireless NB-IoT hospital networks. The results clearly illustrate the role of choosing the correct modulation types to improve the receiver sensitivity.
