Abstract

A load on a power system may consist of linear, non-linear, or a dynamic load. A linear load consists of R, L, C, or its combination. Different generating systems are loaded with the various types of loads. For instance, diesel and wind energy power generations utilize R-L-C loads. In wind energy generation system, asynchronous generator is used for the electrical energy generation. It is connected with the diesel generation for the continuation of the electrical supply. In the proposed system, IGBT devices are used to control the electrical energy. For the proper voltage regulation, the designed system on load side is done through the pulsed width modulation technique. The modulation technique helps in reducing the harmonic disturbance thereby smoothening the voltage waveform. A PI controller is used to tune up the error. In proposed system, analysis of the system is done with a three-phase fault using MATLAB 16a Simulink software. The simulated results are presented.
