Abstract

Optical burst switching (OBS) is a typical paradigm for the full-optical packet switching techniques. In this paper, the performances of average network latency and the number of bursts that based on variable and fixed burst length of OBS networks have been studied and analyzed. Results have reference significance for the design of OBS networks.
