Abstract

An analytical model to analyze the performance of dynamically reroutable multistage interconnection networks (MINs) is described. The accuracy of the model is discussed. The results obtained are compared with simulation results for several specific designs of MINs. It is shown that fairly accurate results can be obtained by careful application of the analytical model.
