Abstract

The Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is a very attractive technique for high-bit — rate data transmission in multipath path environments. Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) communication systems along with OFDM systems in Rayleigh fading channel increases the system performance. A new trend of space-time block code (STBC)-OFDM system and space-frequency block code (SFBC)-OFDM system and a comparison between them are introduced. A channel matrix shaping method is introduced in STBC-OFDM and SFBC-OFDM systems. The proposed system presents a performance analysis of serially concatenated LDPC codes with alamouti space time block coded (STBC)-MIMO-OFDM systems for high data rate wireless transmission. The simulation results show the proposed system outperforms the conventional STBC method and STBC with channel matrix shaping. Proposed system has low computational complexity, because it is based on WHT.
