Abstract

IPMSM is very popular used due to highly efficient, high power solidity and large operating speed spectrum that’s why IPMSM is use to reduce Energy consumption and increase the speed and torque characteristic of the motor. Here we explain the close loop control topology of IPMSM. Three phases AC synchronously rotate signal is transforming into d-q rotating reference frame. The main advantage of this transformation is torque and flux both can be controlled separately. Measured id and iq compare with reference id (the flux reference) and iq (the torque reference). D-axis reference current should be set zero. According to the speed-command torque is directly controlled by controlling the torque reference current. SVPWM topology is used for getting Gate signals of inverter. The simulation of an IPMSM control scheme was performed in MATLAB/Simulink to prove the accuracy of the given control scheme and some reviews have been done in various research paper.
