Abstract
In this paper, we have studied a Nano-thermoelectric engine with a single energy level dot driving by an external stochastic force. Based on the model, expressions for the power output and efficiency of the engine are derived. The effects of the energy level ϵd and the energy space Δϵ=ϵu−ϵd on the performance of the engine are revealed. The performance characteristics of the engine are analyzed by a numerical calculation and graphic method. Furthermore, some important operating regions, including the energy level, the power output and the efficiency, are determined and evaluated optimally.
