Abstract
AbstractIn D2D network, the multimedia services are often repeatedly requested by many users to the base station at different times, resulting in huge backhaul traffic. To reduce the load of the base station, this paper presents a double redundancy relay with cooperative transmission method. The base station matches sending nodes according to the D2D user request content and set relay users according to the buffer length. When other D2D users do not have data to transmit and monitor the multi-hop data, they help the relay users to transmit the multi-hop messages automatically. Considering batch arrival data traffic, the queue state of relay users is analyzed based on a two dimensional Markov process. Results from a variety of experiments show that the double redundancy relay with cooperative transmission method can improve the throughput and reduce the packet loss rate in D2D networks.KeywordsD2D networkMulti-hop relayCooperative transmissionQueueing theory
