Abstract
The L-shaped array structure is considered as an attractive alternative to estimate entire direction of arrival (both azimuth and elevation). Most of the techniques developed around this specific array structure assume a constant channel configuration which is not enough realistic in the context of evolutive wireless systems. In this paper, we propose a performance analysis of several 2-D direction of arrival (DOA) estimation techniques by taking into consideration the scattering effect of channel. Especially, the impact of angular spread on the precision of the considered DOA estimation techniques is studied.
