Abstract

Biliary fistula has a relatively low prevalence in biliary tract disorders and its typical symptoms are right upper abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Cholecystoduodenal fistula is the most common type of biliary fistula, but its incidence is very low, and cholecystoduodenal fistula and intestinal obstruction caused by gallbladder stones are even rarer. In this letter, we report a case in an elderly male with perforated gangrenous cholecystitis, cholecystoduodenal fistula and intestinal obstruction caused by gallbladder stones.
