Abstract

Long Term Evolution (LTE) is a fourth generation technology (4G) developed by the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). LTE is able to provide downlink speeds of up to 100 Mbps and uplink of 50 Mbps. Interference is a signal whose presence in telecommunications networks is undesirable, has a disturbing nature and can reduce the performance of telecommunications networks including 4G LTE technology In this study, physical cell identity (PCI) method was used to improve carrier performance to noise interference ratio which resulted in an increase in the value of 5.08 dB to 5.14 dB with a difference of 0.06 dB
