Abstract

s / Toxicology Letters 229S (2014) S40–S252 S47 iPSC-derived neural cells. Characterization of the model has been performed for both healthy and Downs’s Syndrome donors with mRNA andmicroRNA levels evaluated during 8weeks of neural differentiation. Size and cell type population have been studied and human 3D aggregates have shown to stain positive for different neuronal markers after 4 and 8 weeks of differentiation. Here we present the applications of this emerging technology and identify possible future directions of our developed 3D human brain MPS. http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.toxlet.2014.06.202
