Abstract

In this paper, in order to achieve directional invisibility a new device is introduced, which unlike the cloaking device, inner observer in this device, in addition to being able to see outside of surrounding shell, can get visual information from large surrounding region into the small core region. To this end, double near zero metamaterials (DNZs) and perfect concentrator parameters, is combined to tailor the outgoing wave front and to have directional invisibility, respectively. Moreover, theoretical analysis is used to have close solution in perfect directional invisibility which has ultimately validated via full-wave simulations. Finally a perfect structure, using simple materials, is introduced that can function perfectly well. This structure can potentially be used in optical image stabilization (OIS) in photography.
