Abstract

Production is the activity of managing input into output. All activities in an organization definitely need planning, one of which is the production process. PT. Charoen Pokphand is a chicken meat processing company that applies the production planning process. The purpose of this thesis is: 1) to find out the process of planning the production of chicken nuggets at PT. Charoen Pokphand Unit Mojokerto, 2) to find out the production process of chicken nuggets at PT. Charoen Pokphand Mojokerto Unit. Implementation of the final project at PT. Charoen Pokphand used methods such as: 1) direct practice or activity, 2) collection of primary data by discussing with the relevant agency and observation or direct observation in the location, 3) secondary data collection by literature study and documentation and data . Planning the production of chicken nuggets at PT. Charoen Pokphand Mojokerto Unit, consists of raw material planning, capacity planning, production scheduling. The raw material for making chicken nuggets is chicken meat, wheat flour, emulsion, water, ice, vegetable oil, and wet and dry herbs. Once processed chicken nuggets require a mixture of 650 kg of raw materials. The production machine consists of a meat grinder machine, a material mixing machine, a frying machine, a freezer, and a packing machine. The average scheduling of chicken nuggets production takes place 11 times per day, with a production target of 12,000 kilograms. The process of producing chicken nuggets consists of milling, and warehousing.
