Abstract

<p>Meeting the needs and maintaining the availability of water is an effort where a situation where the area is usually not run by water such as settlements, industrial areas, and other public facilities. This situation is considered to be detrimental to both morally and materially, the impact of which will directly be felt by humans. Therefore humans must balance between needs and natural conditions.</p><p>Please note that the Klepek Dam is one of the buildings that functions as a water reservoir after the Pacal Reservoir for irrigation needs in the rice fields. To realize the success of quality Dam buildings and able to function as planned, it is needed by making check dam using concrete consumption.</p>From studies and calculations that have been done using software, AutoCad, and Harpes calculation methods, it is known the impact of flood discharge and cross section in the Lusi watershed to determine whether or not the cross section of the Pacal Reservoir is necessary. The problem of holding water in the Pacal Reservoir is overcome by making check dam using concrete consumption

Pendahuluan

Dalam dekade terakhir semakin marak berita tentang besarnya potensi kejadian bencana alam sedimen seperti terjadinya tanah-tanah longsor di beberapa tempat, baik di Jawa maupun di luar Jawa, yang menelan korban jiwa yang tidak sedikit serta kerugian moril dan materil yang cukup besar. Kerusakan lingkungan ini berdampak pada tingkat erosi yang semakin meningkat sehingga berakibat pada peningkatan sedimentasi pada bangunan - bangunan air yang sudah ada sepertipada Bendung Klepek. Perencanaan Check Dam ini agar tampungan air sisa dimusim penghujan dapat di tampung ketika musim kemarau datang dengan sitem pompa. Check dam dengan menggunakan konsumsi beton dibangun pada suatu alur sungai sebagai penampung air yang berfungsi antara lain sebagai pembangkit tenaga listrik, penyedia air irigasi, dan pengendali banjir. Sedimen yang masuk ke bendung tersebut akan mengendap dan menyebabkan terjadinya pendangkalan pada bendung sehingga akan mempengaruhi perubahan kapasitas tampungan bendung tersebut. Berdasarkan latar belakang dan permasalahan yang telah diuraikan di atas maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah “Menyusun strategi pengendalian sedimen Sub-DAS wilayah Kali Pacal dengan menggunakan pendekatan struktur bangunan pengendali sedimen (check dam) menggunakan metode Analisis Frekuensi”
