Abstract
Visceral artery pseudo-aneurysm is a rare but one of the dreaded complications of pancreatitis. Early treatment is advocated in all patients to decrease associated mortality. Transarterial coil embolization is the treatment of choice in such pseudo-aneurysm. However in cases with absent distal circulation, percutaneous thrombin can be used successfully. Here we present a case of post pancreatitis gastroduodenal artery pseudoaneurysm in which percutaneous thrombin was injected in addition to selective coil embolization as an alternative for the conventional coil embolization.
