Abstract

A series of 27 ankles in children with spastic equinus were treated by percutaneous tendon Achillis lengthening. The mean admission was 2.1 days and 100% obtained improvement. There were no complications. Percutaneous lengthening is a safe and effective procedure in a District General Hospital.
