Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical effect and complication of percutaneous interventional treatment under fluoroscopy for common duct stones after operation of malignant digestive tract tumors. Methods Seven patients were evaluated with common duct stones after operation of malignant digestive tract tumors.All the patients underwent percutaneous interventional treatment under fluoroscopy by stone-removing baskets. Results All the treatment were performed successfully and the total bilirubin(TBIL) decreased to the normal range a week later. There were no recurrence of common duct stones in all cases at least six months later. A small amount of biliary tract bleeding was observed in one case and mild abdominal pain occurred in another case. No serious complications were observed. Conclusions Percutaneous interventional treatment under fluoroscopy may be a safe and effective method with few complication for common duct stones.
