Abstract

The ELLIPSYS vascular access system was designed to create percutaneous arteriovenous fistulae (pAVF), using tissue fusion in order to create an anastomosis between the proximal radial artery (PRA) and the deep communicating vein (DCV) of the forearm. The procedure is immediately completed by an angioplasty of the anastomosis. The purpose of this study was to present our experience as well as the follow-up of the first patients.
