Abstract

Observacoes realizadas em uma plantacao de fumo, Nicotiana tabacum L., situada no distrito municipal de Cruz das Almas,Regiao do Reconcavo do Estado da Bahia - Brasil, permitiram a verificacao da ocorrencia de tres especies de precevejos predadores da familia Reduviidae, subfamilia Harpactorinae: Agriocleptes bahianus Wygodzinsky, 1953 e Apiomerus lanipes (Fabricius, 1803) da tribo Apiomerini e Cosmoclopius nigroannulatus (Stal, 1860) da tribo Harpactorini; esta ultima especie foi a mais abundante na plantacao. Durante o estudo, as seguintes presas foram observadas sendo utilizadas como recurso alimentar: Tetragonisca angustula (Latreille, 1811) (Hymenoptera, Apidae) por A. bahianus; Heliothis virescens (Fabricius, 1781) (Lepidoptera, Noctuidae) por C. nigroannulatus.
