Abstract

A job analysis was undertaken to examine rated perceptual differences of 50 men and 30 women, physical education administrators in the secondary schools of Arizona, on their attitudes regarding the importance of administrative duties in both actual and ideal work situations. There were significant differences in six of 10 administrative categories, with the greatest discrepancies found for public relations and intramurals. All significant differences between actual and ideal ratings were greatest for the female administrators.
