Abstract

Good governance is considered as a slogan in the contemporary age. It has attained huge public response from the previous decade. The contemporary state of good governance is not pleasing in Bangladesh. There are various difficulties in the way for ensuring good governance. Poor governance suppresses and obstructs progress. In those states where there are exploitations, poor mechanism of public assets, lack of answerability, misuses of human rights and undue military effect progress unavoidably undergoes. The prospective leader of a state is the youngsters. Here, in the present study, youths are considered as the university going students who are progressing their education. A questionnaire survey conducted through an equipped questionnaire with some significant and reliable questions which were asked to 100 students of Comilla University and Britannia University. The study is a modest attempt to identify the thinking of the future leaders of the country regarding the good governance situation in Bangladesh.
