Abstract

The ongoing carona pandemic made the Researcher to depend upon online resources for their education. Most of the Universities are purchasing e resources for the Researchers. Few Universities are showing interest in Open Access Resources. This paper presents the key findings of a survey about use, perception and utilization of open access resources. Open Access (OA) resources are classified into two categories: primary sources of information with full text access including databases and Web 2.0 applications like Research gate Wikipedia and personal blogs. The population chosen for this study was Researchers of E F L University. A structural questionnaire was distributed to 120 researchers, 102 responses were obtained. The analysis revealed that the researchers are aware and using research-based repositories. It is found that around fifty-one percent of users are satisfied with available OA resources.
