Abstract

Fatigue is a protective mechanism of the body to avoid further damage so that recovery occurs after rest. This study aims to analyze differences in the level of work fatigue among billman workers and technicians. This research is a quantitative analytical research. The variables studied in this study were feelings of tiredness, work motivation, and physical workload on billman workers and technicians in the work area of PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Limboto. The sample consisted of 36 workers, composed of 18 billman workers and 18 technicians, sampling was carried out using the Total Sampling technique. Data analysis used Independent sample t-test. The results showed differences in the level of fatigue that occurred in billman workers and technicians based on feeling tired (p-Value = 0.000), and lack of work motivation (p-Value = 0.000). It is recommended that workers get enough rest and steal time to stretch their bodies on the sidelines of work so that fatigue does not occur or minimizes fatigue.
