Abstract

The Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights plays a role as one of the vertical agencies in the area which is very important in the process of drafting a Regional Regulation, bearing in mind that the Regional Office of Law and Human Rights has functional staffs in drafting legislation competent in their fields, not only providing substantial input to a draft Perda, but also harmonizes with the provisions of laws and regulations which have a higher hierarchy, so that inconsistencies between Perda and other laws and regulations can be minimized. Review of the draft regulation through the process of harmonization of laws and regulations and executive preview supervision. This research is an analytical descriptive research. The approach used in this study is a normative juridical approach supported by an empirical juridical approach. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that: First, the Role of Drafting of Laws and Regulations of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in the supervision of regional legal products through the Executive Preview can be seen in: Evaluation of Regional Regulation on Village Arrangement; Evaluation of Regional Regulation that regulates the RPJPD, RPJMD, APBD, changes in the APBD, accountability for the implementation of the APBD, Regional Taxes, Regional Levies, and Regional Spatial Planning in Local Government Law; Evaluation of Regional Regulation; Approval of the Draft Regional Regulation concerning the Formation and Arrangement of Regency / City Regional Apparatus; and clarification of regional regulations .
