Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the role of parents as a motivator in the continuity of children's education to college. (2) The role of parents as facilitators in the continuity of children's education to tertiary institutions. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The data sources in this study are parents of children who are currently pursuing higher education. The data in this study are the results of interviews with parents whose children are currently pursuing higher education. Collecting data in this study using observation and interview techniques. Data collection tools used observation guides, interview guides and notebooks and archives. The results showed that the role of parents as a motivator in the continuity of children's education to college comes from the support of parents who make children serious in undergoing education and praise, while the role of parents as facilitators in the continuity of children's education to college comes from the provision of facilities. given by parents tochildren as a support for education.Keywords: The Role Of Parents, Child Education
