Abstract

The goal of this research’s conduction is to; (1) acknowledge the information management and delivery through social media in the realization of mosque prosperity; (2) acknowledge social media conformity with user-generated content as a socialization medium to manifest mosque prosperity; (3) understand the interaction efforts in benefitting social media to prosper mosque by involving young generations. The method utilized in this research was a descriptive qualitative method, by using interview, observation and documentation as data collection techniques. The results of this research are; (1) Facebook is utilized by Ad-Dakwah because it has the benefit to reach various circles of society, especially teenagers; (2) Facebook provides an extensive cyberspace that help its user expand its social relationship, to create new opportunities, to acquire new experiences, and to share broader views on a focused subject; (3) the effort conducted by Ad-Dakwah management to prosper their mosque through the involvement of young generation is by adjusting their information delivery in social media. Their contents are adjusted in such way that they can influence young generations’ perspectives about mosque and cultivate an understanding that a mosque is a highly positive place to visit and to be involved with in every activity that follows.
