Abstract

Hotel development in Indonesia is currently experiencing uncertainty due to Indonesia's economic conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic which tend to have a negative impact on hospitality conditions. This type of research is associative with a quantitative approach to determine how the causal relationship between the independent variables consists of self-efficacy and work enthusiasm on the dependent variable, namely performance with the intervening variable, namely work discipline with a sample of 108 employees who worked in 2020. The data analysis techniques used include data: 1. quality tests, 2. classical assumption tests, 3. path analysis tests, 4. Sobel Test tests, 5. hypothesis testing with the SPSS data processing program. The results are self-efficacy partially has a positive and significant effect on employee work discipline, work enthusiasm partially has a positive and significant effect on employee work discipline, self-efficacy partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work enthusiasm partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline partially has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work discipline does not mediate the effect of self-efficacy on employee performance, work discipline mediates the effect of work enthusiasm on employee performance.
