Abstract
The purpose of writing this article is to make it easier to teach Indonesian both at school and in the community. The method used is a qualitative research method. This data collection technique uses document techniques. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the research results, it was found that the important role of Bantu languages in Indonesian includes: (1) Bantu languages have made a major contribution in enriching Indonesian vocabulary, (2) Bantu languages also reflect the diverse cultural heritage in Indonesia, (3) Bantu languages maintain the diversity of languages in Indonesia, as well as (4) languages that help facilitate understanding between regions in Indonesia. Abntu discussions play a role in enriching vocabulary, combining cultures, maintaining linguistic diversity, and facilitating regional understanding of Indonesia. This makes the Indonesian language unique and rich and strengthens national identity.
