Abstract
The last annual Pepys’s Commemoration Service was held at St Olave’s, Hart Street, on 6 June 1940, when the Society was represented by Professor E. N. da C. Andrade. Before the next anniversary had fallen, the Church had been wrecked by the German Air Force.
