Abstract

Mr W. S. Kerr, who until his retirement in 1969 was managing director of Pinchin Johnson, died on Saturday, December 28 aged 70. Mr Kerr joined Pinchin Johnson and Associates in 1934 as a senior industrial paint representative in Scotland. He enlisted in the Royal Artillery at the beginning of the last war and attained the rank of staff captain. Almost immediately after the war he was appointed Pinchin Johnson's Scottish manager.
