Abstract

Having a good attitude in inter-religious relations in Indonesia is very important. This is a priority in the content that needs to be included in citizenship education teaching materials. The aim of this research is to analyze important religious moderation studies formulated in citizenship education teaching materials. The research method used was qualitative-descriptive. The data obtained was produced in the form of a series of academic perception data and theoretical studies on strengthening the concept of religious moderation in citizenship education teaching materials. The research results obtained are the dynamics of attitudes toward understanding national commitment and the development of attitudes toward religious tolerance, which are discussed in the theoretical analysis of citizenship education teaching materials. The conclusions obtained are that academics' national commitment attitude is still strong in their need for teaching materials and the importance of developing an attitude of tolerance in the development of teaching materials in the Citizenship Education scheme.
