Abstract
In the spring issue of Interface, Harold Read wrote a nostalgic article entitled Modern Electroplating, about the Society's first monograph volume, which established the Society as a leader in scientific publications. Published in 1942, it was a technical best seller and the cornerstone for the development of the science of electroplating.
