Abstract

Information and Communication Technology can be used to create a more interesting learning media during distance learning. Interesting learning media such as videos are indispensable in distance learning. This study aims to improve mathematics learning achievement in video-based distance learning. The research subjects were students of class XII social studies at a high school in Tawangsari. This research method is classroom action research. Data collection techniques are carried out by giving tasks before and after the action. The action consists of two cycles, namely cycle 1 and cycle 2. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning (planning), implementing (acting), observing (observing), and reflecting (reflecting). The results showed that in cycle 1 the average score was 82.11 and in cycle 2 an average score was 87.51, so there was an increase in learning achievement from cycle 1 to cycle 2. Video-based distance learning was proven to improve learning achievement. student.
